To Apply to Finland and study there you must know couple of things before you make any decisions.
EVERY YEAR there is an ONLINE APPLICATION SYSTEM through which people apply and those with complete documents gets admited and go to the next level and where they have to conduct an ENTRY test ( which is very easy but depends on your choice of program, it varys if you are applying for Tourism, BIT, International Business etc etc.

To apply to Finland for FREE EDUCATION is very easy and it looks like a huge process but i have been through all that and i know each and every thing where the admission process is very very easy but again if you have all the required documents. Later on i will mention the required documents which you will be needing to apply/study in FINLAND FOR FREE.

Every year online admission process for Free Education in polytechnics/UAS programs starts on 9th of January and ends on 14th of febrary. IT can vary little bit but for the last couple of years its the same but again it can vary i will mention couple of links where you can find the exact dates time and document checklist for Bachelor, Master and PhD programs.

So lets start with the first step "choosing the right program" , lets first discuss the Bachelor program, universities offering Bachelor programs/courses for International Students. Option for Exchange program for International students is also available and its the same where you do not have to pay for the "TUITION FEE" and it is in the same catagory of FREE EDUCATION IN FINLAND.
Like other countries,SWEDEN,GERMANY,NORMAY etc they were also offering FREE EDUCATION for International students but now they have started charging the "TUITION FEE" as a regular students like other countries but FINLAND is still among those countries where the " EDUCATION IS FREE OF COST " and it will remain the same for couple of years and then they will start charging the  " TUITION FEE " as regular countries but for the time being its FREE OF COST and you students should take advantage of that. Most of the students and people do not believe that the TUITION FEE IS FREE and they have no idea how to start processing etc etc.

SOME IMPORTANT POINT TO REMEMBER

• Online application period will open at 9th of January 2012 and it closes at 14th of January 2012 so your file must arrive there within this period ( Make sure each and every thing is correct of you wont be able to resent because it takes too much time to send t he document so there is only one chace do not miss it be careful  )

• Entrance examinations are held between 2 April and 4 May 2015.

• Polytechnics/UAS announce the results by 17 July 2015.

• Admitted students must confirm their study places by 31 July  2015 at 4.15 pm Finnish time at the latest.

ELIGIBILITY OR REQUIREMENTS FOR FREE EDUCATION IN FINLAND:
Every country ir when ever you apply for any country for study purpose there are couple of requirments or you can say eligibility criteria. So there is an eligibility criteria for STUDY IN FINLAND FOR FREE, so there are couple of things which you should take care of and i am going to mention those right below.

• the Finnish Matriculation examination or upper secondary examination

• European Baccalaureate, International Baccalaureate or Reifeprüfung examination

• vocational qualification of three years or more in duration

• Further vocational qualification or specialist vocational qualification or an applicable foreign degree or qualification which gives eligibility for higher education in the awarding country.

APPLICATION CHECKLIST FOR FINLAND FOR FREE ADMISSION

• Apply online 9 January - 14 February every year.
• Send the required copies of non-Finnish educational certificates and language certificates by 24 February at 4.15 pm Finnish time at the latest to the admission office of your first option.
• Entrance examination invitations and Decisions on eligibility are posted by mail in late March.
• Entrance examinations are arranged between 2 April -  4 May The invitations will include all the details about time, location, and special arrangements. Please note, that some polytechnics/UAs do not arrange examinations anywhere else than in Finland.
• If you are applying with an upper secondary education completed in Finland, please inform of the changes in your grade point average by 18 May 2015 at 4.15 pm at the latest.
• Results are announced on  28 May 2015 at the earliest. Please remember that posting the results takes few days.
• All higher education admission results are announced by 17 July 2012 at the latest.

• Confirm your study place by returning the confirmation form by 31 July  2012 at 4.15 pm Finnish time at the latest to the higher education institution you chose as your final study place. If you do not return the form in time, you will lose your study place.
• If you have applied with an upper secondary education completed in Finland, please attach a copy of your educational certificate(s) to the confirmation form and return them by 31 July 2012 at 4.15 pm at the latest.

The polytechnic/UAS may withdraw the admission, if the applicant has given false information or has given forged documents so you gotta be very careful in providing information when applying for FINLAND FOR FREE STUDIES. There is no need of  visiting consultants or other people who process VISA for Finland because it is very easy all you need to do is to take care of the time ( the right time to apply ) and get all of your documents ready by the time. BEcause some of the couments like IELTS,TOEFL it takes alot of time and you have to register for IELTS or TOEFL before couple of months because now a days the IELTS registration dates are not available so you will need to register online for IELTS couple of months earlier so that you have your copy of IELTS grades by the time of applying to FINLAND FOR FREE STUDIES. 1. Higher School Degree ( also knowns as Internediate Degree or, 12th Grade )

2. IELTS band 6.0 or above or TOEFL score 550 pbt/79-80 ibt

3. Job experience if you have any gap in between your last degree or educational certificate, you can add any job experience to cover the extra time between your last degree as it gives a very good impression, even though if you do not add any job experience it does not hurt your application at all but this is just a plus.

GOODLUCK. Many of you would think that may be this is a wastage of time but i my self and many of my friends use to think the same but this is something very TRUE and POSSIBLE. All you need to do is to get your documents ready before specific time, and i will tell you the exact dates before you should have your documents ready.

DEADLINES:

I would prefer if i was you i would  have complete all of my documents before December 20th or may be December 30th. You have loads of time to complete your documents and you do not need heavy documents like BANK STATEMENTS or anything like that, now i will list all those documents which you should have ready before December 30th to STUDY IN FINLAND FOR FREE ( but it will not include your living cost you will need to pay for living and other expenses like books and your meals and trips )
DOCUMENTS: 

1. The most important and time consuming thing is IELTS, and if you can score 6.0 BAND i would say you will most likely be admitted but still 5.5 is also acceptable.


2. Now if you are applying for DEGREE level courses then you should attest a copy of your 2ND year or High school leaving certificate ( which is also called 12th GRADE degree in Pakistan or 2ND year, it does not mater if you have bad marks i my self had 42% marks in my high school :)  ).


3.If you do have any job experiences it will help you, for example i completed my 2ND years/High school in 2006 but i applied in 2009 and i added three years of experience basically you need to cover the gap between studies it is not necessary.

THAT'S IT!!!!   ISN'T IT AMAZING, IT LOOKS LIKE IT WILL BE A HUGE ISSUE OR WORK LOAD BUT NO, MOST OF THE PEOPLE STUDENTS ARE NOT AWARE OF THAT, AND LET ME TELL YOU THAT EVERY THING DEPENDS ON YOUR TEST, IT DOES NOT MATERS IF YOU WERE A POOR STUDENT OR VERY INTELLIGENT IF YOU WILL DO GOOD IN TEST YOU WILL GET SELECTED AND IF YOU REALLY WANT TO GO TO FINLAND THEN GO FOR TOURISM BECAUSE ALMOST EVERY STUDENT GET ADMITTED OF COURSE NOT EVERY STUDENT BUT I AM TALKING ABOUT DECENT STUDENTS.
